We are pleased to be offering this marvelous Rococo style Ladies Chair to you today.

Dating from the 1860s to 1870s, this piece hails from a home in Beacon, MA where it has purportedly been sitting since it was originally purchased.

The chair is constructed mostly of black walnut with some mahogany in the mix; it sports its original finish, and has a fantastic patina!  The upholstery was redone we are guessing sometime within the last 20-40 years, and is a lovely neutral floral pattern that is quite usable with some wear and little staining here and there.

The chair features fantastic Rococo style floral carvings on the crests of each piece, carvings on the skirts, fancy floral carved front legs, and carved frames that come around the into floral carved supports, and floral carvings tumbling out of a carved basket—delightful!

This lady’s chair measures 22 inches wide, 22 inches deep, 43 inches tall to the top of the crest, and 17 inches to the seat.  This is a stunning parlor chair that dates from the glory days of Victorian furniture, and will only become more valuable with age.
It will cost $185.00 to have this shipped to your home.   Please contact us to make sure that your location is located in the normal delivery area.
