This is a beautiful solid tiger-sawn oak, white with gray grain marble-top four-piece carved bedroom set that dates from the 1890s-1900s in original condition. This set consists of a bed, a marble-top night stand, a four-drawer marble-top beveled glass mirror chest and a beautiful and stunning two beveled-glass door, two-drawer oak wardrobe. Beautiful in condition, the overall color is a medium amber. The only thing I can see as a drawback is that on the bed one of the panels has a crack, but not so you can see through it. It can be pushed over so it looks like a lamination seam. Overall, this set is in really nice original condition. The marble-top chest has a white and gray grain marble top and a wonderful inch-and-a-half strong and bold beveled-glass mirror. The four drawers of this chest are all of hand-cut dovetail construction and the hardware is all the original French style. The overall size is 39 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 34 inches to the top of the marble top, and 64 inches to the top of the mirror. It features cabriole legs and panel sides, along with all the hardware. The oak bed is an off-size of 51 inches wide on the inside and 78 inches long. It would have to take a custom mattress or can be altered a bit on the rails to accommodate a full-size mattress. If the rails are altered a bit, a full-size mattress can sit on top of the rails and the angle brackets could hold it in place. The outside dimensions are 56 inches wide, the headboard is 53 inches high and the footboard is 44 inches high. It’s a great bed, with that crack in the panel. There are cabriole legs in the base. The night stand is 16 inches square and 34 inches high. It comes with a hand-cut dovetail drawer, a paneled door in the base, original French-style hardware and tall cabriole legs. Last but not least is the two-door beautiful wardrobe. It’s a great-looking model, which opens up to expose an interior that is 21 inches deep, and 53 inches wide. It has more than 64 inches of clearance inside. It has a shelf on top, a hanging rod and some hanging hooks. The two lovely beveled-glass doors can be closed, and there are two drawers in the base that are hand-cut dovetail and offer lots of storage space, as well. The outside dimensions of the wardrobe are 55 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 95 inches high to the top of the carved crest, so it will just barely fit into a modern-day house. It is in outstanding condition, with raised panels across the face and all the French Victorian brass hardware is intact. There is one panel on the side that does have a crack, but is in otherwise wonderful condition, and makes for a beautiful fourth piece to this nice bedroom set. Dating from the 1880s era, the set includes a gorgeous marble top washstand, a marble top drop center chest with a full view mirror and a beautiful large burl walnut bed. It is an outstanding set and I do not know who made it. It is in the original finish and has been oiled. The finish is pretty much original with just a little bit of minor fading here and there. Overall it just needs a good oiling and a good waxing; then it will be in unbelievable original condition. It comes with what appears to be the original tear drop hardware, burl walnut all over the place on every piece and is constructed of solid black walnut. The overall size of the bed is 60 inches wide, 35 inches high on the footboard and 81 inches high on the headboard. The inside dimensions for mattress purposes is 57 inches wide by 75 inches long. It will easily take a modern day full size box spring and mattress. The rails have original molding and high wings still in place along with the original castors. The rails bolt on for added strength and sturdiness. The overall condition of the bed is fantastic. It has a little dryness to the burl panel on the headboard that just needs to be waxed a little bit. You can see where someone had a light bulb sitting there for years in one section where it tinted the wood down a little bit right near the left hand finial, as you look straight on at the bed. Other than that, the bed is in outstanding original, never been touched condition. The next item is the marble top washstand with a beautiful white and grey grained marble top with a delicate bevel edge backsplash. It is 35 inches across, 18.5 inches deep, 33 inches to the top of the marble top and 39.5 inches tall to the backsplash. It has dovetail drawer construction; double door on the base, original hardware and the burl is all-good. It is a stunning marble top solid black walnut commode. The final and last piece is the exquisite triple marble drop center with the gorgeous raised panel burl drawer fronts that are dovetail. Check out the keyhole covers, a blown up portion of what the commode has on it, just a lot larger in the center dial. It has the beautiful candle shelves all in place and original, medallions are all there, the burl walnut panels and even the top crest are all intact. The overall size of the dresser is 50 inches wide, 20.5 inches deep, 30 inches high to the center marble, 35 inches high to the top marble and 86 inches high to the top of the crest of the marble. This is an excellent original finish untouched marble top three-piece bedroom set, and we are proud to be offering today. Please note, there is a crack on the left hand small drawer on the drop center chest on the burl panel that we will detail out before shipping to the buyer. On the baseboards there are a few little nicks and dings as to be expected for a set of this age. The marble is very nice with no cracks or stains. You are getting a beautiful full size walnut panel bed, a gorgeous oversized burl walnut white marble top wash stand and a triple marble drop center chest all for one money. This is a gorgeous four-piece oak bedroom set dating from the early 1900s, in original condition. This lovely set features a carved bed, a one-door, one-drawer carved marble top night stand, a three-mirror marble top carved-door oak dresser, and a triple-door two-drawer oak wardrobe. All in a dark stain finish, the overall condition is really great . The mirror on the dresser in the center is not beveled, and the two on the outside are beveled. Other than the normal dings and scratches, it’s a real nice looking set. The bed is a regular size, measuring 51 inches wide and 77 inches long. To make it a full-size bed (54 wide) would only cost an additional $200, if you desire. Overall, it has plenty of really nice features, including the dark oak stain finish, the beautiful carvings, and cast brass hardware. The first item is the marble top night stand, featuring gray and white marble. It measures 15 inches wide, 15.5 inches deep and 32.5 inches high. The height to the bottom shelf is 18 inches. It has a hand-cut, dovetail drawer in the top and a brass handle that has been replaced, and which does not match the handles on the rest of the set. It also has a beautiful little brass knob on the carved picture frame molded bottom drawer. It has paneled sides and a finished back so it doesn’t have to go against the wall, all in good condition. The wardrobe has a door that opens in the center, and a large beveled mirror. The left hand side door will open with a latch and the right hand side is a simulated door, which also has a beveled glass mirror. Inside the compartment is a hanging shelf and rod. It measures 50 inches wide, 19 inches deep and 69 inches is the height of the inside clearance. It features two hand-cut dovetail drawers in the base. The overall condition of the wardrobe is nice and original. The silver is worn on the glass for a charming look, and it also has a lovely carved floral crest in a wreath carving right on the top. The marble top dresser has two raised panel hand-cut dovetail drawers, beautiful picture frame molded decorated doors, and bun feet. The overall size is 46 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 34 inches to the top of the marble dresser base, and 85 inches to the top of the crest on the triple mirror. It also has a raised panel crest underneath the crest, double beveled glass on the batwing mirrors that will flip in and out, which is really kind of neat, and a solid plate-glass mirror in the middle that has just a bit of age on it but no bevel. There are flowers and such carved on the mirror frame, it has a white and gray marble top, and it is in great condition. The last item, the bed, is of all tiger-sawn oak, and has outside dimensions of 53 inches wide, 36 inches high on the footboard, and 60 inches high on the headboard. It has the same wreath-style crest on the headboard, a raised panel center, another carved dome-shaped panel with matching floral carved raised panels on both sides, bun feet and bolt-in side rails. It also has a triple raised panel footboard that matches the headboard and has carved columns. There is scratch going down the center of the headboard that you can see from one angle, and from another angle seems to disappear. Remember that the bed can be made into an American full-size bed for an additional $200 if the buyer specifies. This is a great value: four terrific pieces for one money. This is a beautiful and stunning white and gray grain beveled edge parquet mosaic oak front bedroom set that dates form the early 1900s. In its original color, this set includes two extra-tall raised panel carved pillar leg marble top matching night stands with hand-cut dovetail drawers; a most unusual triple mirror vanity marble top chest with two outside mirrors that have latches that flip out like a batwing; and a pair of small beds that join together to make an unusual oversized full-size. There are only a few minor flaws, but it is in its original condition. One of the unique touches, beside the mosaic parquet front, is what appears to be hand-carved wreaths of tiger oak that attach to the top of the beds and mirror on the chest. Starting with the Victorian marble top matched night stands, which are truly a matched pair as one door opens right, one opens left, they have white beveled edge marble tops with a few little small stains, but no big deal, with completely beveled edges on all four sides. They also have hand-cut dovetail picture frame molded doors, and nice raised panel door fronts with the parquet design on the front and raised panel sides. The dimensions of each are 16 inches square, 35 inches high with the shelf on the bottom being 5 inches high. The drawer bottoms each have a split in them where the wood has dried up and so does the bottom of the door compartments, but they are in overall really nice shape. The next item is the unusual dresser, which would make a beautiful bathroom vanity. This one can actually be wall-mounted. It has hinges on the outside doors that could be part of a built-in medicine cabinet with a little imagination. The top of the crest has a drape with tassels, the hand-carved wreath with berries, and a triple beveled glass mirror with the two outside mirrors flipping out, a white marble top shelf, beveled edge front, two picture frame molded dovetail drawers with a large compartment underneath of two doors and a squared off foot. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 34 inches tall, 41 inches high to the marble shelf and the overall height to the top of the wreath is 79 inches high. The width of the outside mirrors are, glass size 8 inches by 22 inches high and the center is 14 inches wide and 22 inches high. The mirrors show some age, which gives them great character. The overall condition of the cabinet base is great, the raised panel sides both have lamination seams but other than that are in outstanding condition. Last but not least is the unusual pair of beds from overseas that has been joined together, so they make an oversized full-size. A normal full size is 54 by 75. This bed has two smaller than usual half-size beds, but the overall width is 72 inches wide and 78 inches long. It is a very unusual size bed. Each inside bed is 34 inches wide. Either custom-made box springs and mattresses would need to be purchased, or we could convert this to a king-size bed for an additional $450 if so desired, which would measure 80 x 80. The beds are beautiful, with the unusual wreath carvings with the wreath and berry carved crest on top, raised panel fronts, doubles on the headboards, picture frame molded panel on the footboard, with picture frame molding underneath, little rosettes carved out of solid oak all through the front and back, and Hepplewhite style carved block legs, just like the rest of the set. Dimensions of the outside are 75.5 inches wide, 39 inches high at the footboard, and 57 inches high on the headboard. It is finished in a medium oak stain. Overall, the condition is great. The two beds can also be taken apart so they are unusual sized twin beds, 34 wide by 77 inches long, if desired. This is a magnificent set, and we are offering the pair of beds, pair of night stands and the dresser for one money.
