SOLD  It’s really hard to find, but we have it and it can be yours: A two-seat, leather European Chesterfield settee, in fabulous condition…

 Very rare, beautiful and for sale right here on our site, this is a double-seater Chesterfield love seat that probably dates from the 1970s. Although it’s really hard to date this European leather furniture, the hundreds of customers who have bought it from us over the last four or five years all agree it’s amazing, high-quality stuff. I was in a friend’s home the other night who had bought a Chesterfield triple-cushion sofa in the U.S. about 14 years ago. He bought it for $3900 that long ago! Back then we sold ours for $400 or $500 or so, so you can imagine what this particular settee would be worth anywhere else! This settee is gorgeous, a dark antique red, distressed look with the black highlights, with buttons and pleating everywhere, including on the back, the front, the arms, the kickboard, all over the place! It has a double, removable cushion seat with the great wrinkles that people love because of its remarkable aged-leather look. It also has the worn finish on the arms that you’d have to pay someone big bucks to reproduce. All-in-all, this is a great chair with a terrific look. The overall size is 60 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 40 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 35 inches deep, 28 inches high and 17 inches to the seat. Soft, pillow-stuffed arms add to the comfort and style of this piece. We’re so happy to have it for sale today, but remember: It won’t last long! It will cost $385 to have this rare piece shipped to your home, within our normal delivery area.
