SOLD Vintage Sheraton Carved Pencil Post Twin Bed

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful solid mahogany tapered fluted Sheraton acanthus carved poster bed dating from the 1940s. It is a beautiful bed with wonderful original finish. It is in a dark reddish brown finish that is real nice. It came right out of a local estate. It is a nice period style looking bed with fluted posts, multi-turn cross stretcher, a wonderful cut out mahogany shield on the headboard. The outside dimensions are 40.5 inches wide, 55 inches high on the footboard posts, 35 inches high on the footboard posts, 62 inches high on the posts of the headboard and 39 inches wide on the outside of the rails. The inside dimensions for mattress purposes is 36 inches wide by 76 inches long. It will cost $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
