We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful unusual oak curio top sideboard that is a tribute to Paine Furniture out of Boston Massachusetts. It is most likely a product from Paine Furniture Company back in the 1890s. It has the original bevel mirrored back, golden oak finish, bevel glass on both of the top glass doors, three drawers on the bottom with two large doors underneath for ample storage, carvings on both sides, pillars supporting the top curio section and a wonderful bevel glass mirror in the center. It is a very hard and unusual piece to find. There is a little crease on the face of the door on the bottom on the right hand side that has been there for a long time. This piece is shown as is with dust and all. The Paine Furniture Company opened in 1935 on Boston's Black Stone Street and grew to a 275,000 square foot building at 81 Arlington Street in Boston. Paine was a furniture landmark for almost 200 years and a famous New England Tradition providing quality home furnishings for the last two centuries. The two piece cabinet is 48 inches wide, 23 inches deep on the base and 77 inches tall overall. The top is approximately 12 inches deep. The overall condition is good with only minor nicks and dings and the crease mentioned previously. Driveway delivery starts at $299 if you are in our normal area.
