We are pleased to be offering today this pair of matching mahogany Duncan Phyfe corner china closets that date from the 1940s. The overall condition is really good except for the crown molding on top of each cabinet. I am assuming that someone banged it here and there as you can see where there are bruises on the top. The base has one small piece of molding missing which we might be able to get touched up prior to shipping. The cabinets have applied grillwork on the doors, Duncan Phyfe brass hardware on the base and they have a faint inlaid on the bottom doors that have a shelf midway behind the open doors. The top glass doors have two shelves behind. It holds plenty of storage. You can see where a piece of the grillwork was cracked at one time, but it has been repaired. They need a good quality cleaning to reveal the beautiful reddish brown stain finish. They have brass knobs on the glass doors. The cabinets are priced to move as it is tough to find a pair for this price. The overall size is 39 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 74 inches tall. The amount of wall space they take up is approximately 18.5 inches. You are getting the pair for one money. Shipping for both cabinets starts at $425 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
