We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful solid mahogany custom crown flame finial top four piece of inlaid mahogany china closet that dates from the 1920's era. It is a beautiful cabinet with a crown molded top with a flame center finial and an inlaid oval panel that is approximately 5 inches across that depicts an American eagle sitting on a limb with leaves. Right below the two individual mullion glass door on top sits another eagle oval panel and on both sides of the corner boards oval 5 inch high inlaid panels depicting an urn with flowers in it. Each door represents the colonial 13 colonies with the individual glass in 13 different sections. This means that every door has solid wood mullions with 13 pieces of individual glass. It is not one piece of glass with a cut out grill. It comes with the original key. The top section has two shelves and the bottom section has one shelf. The top section is 32 inches high and the bottom doors are approximately 27 inches high. The width of the cabinet is 38 inches wide and it takes up approximately 26 inches of wall space on each side of the back. The overall height is 81 inches to the top of the flame finial on the center of the top. The cabinet needs a good polish as it is as is and there are couple of rub marks that we can detail out prior to shipping. There are some worn marks here and there which is to be expected from a piece of this age. The inlaid is all intact and the lock works. It is in nice condition for being 100 years old. Shipping starts at $1 for a driveway delivery, with add'l purchase, in our normal area. Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are in our normal delivery area.
