SOLD French Victorian Carved Cabriole Leg Vanity Bench

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful and very hard to find French style carved cabriole leg carved back ladies vanity bench that dates from the 1930's.  It is a beautiful piece that is very scarce to find as they always got separated from the sets or demolished over the years.  It is in the original medium walnut stain finish.  It has a dainty routed carved shapely back with a big fleur-de-lis and flowers carved in the center.  It has four carved cabriole legs with carved knuckles and around the shapely skirt.  The back legs are a cabriole leg with reverse curve.  It even has carving on the back and sides!  One of the pictures will show that there is a small piece of wood out of the back post, which does not affect the structure and is simple to glue another piece on and color it.  The seat looks terrible with spots, but don't worry as it is easy to unscrew the seat, place new upholstery and screw back on for an amazing look to fit your decor.  The overall size is the normal vanity bench size, but I forgot to take it.  If you absolutely need to know, we can get it for you.  Besides reupholstering the seat and the little piece of wood it is in wonderful condition.  Shipping starts at $45 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.  Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are in our normal area.  Please check our other listings for the other pieces of the bedroom set as we offer generous discounts for multiple items purchased!
