We are pleased to be offering this wonderful set of six extra-large Chippendale back dining room chairs to you today. This set sports its original finish, showing only minor, normal wear marks indicative of something this age. Dating from the 1940s, these chairs feature a light red-brown stain, four horizontal ribbon slats in the back, a wrap around flared back leg, a Chippendale country square leg in the front and a solid H cross stretcher for support. This is a set contains five side chairs and one arm chair, and the cushions sport a silver beige black lace-like fabric that appears to just need a good cleaning. The cushions seem to be usable with no major rips, tears or stains, but the fabric can be easily replaced if you so desire. The chairs came right out of local home here in Maine, and they are fairly tight, but we have not run them through the restoration shop. We will sand, stain and re-glue the chairs and reupholster in the fabric of your choice if the buyer so desires, for an additional $450. The overall size of the side chairs are 21 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 39 inches high to the back and 18.5 inches high to the seat. The arm chair is 23 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 37.5 inches to the back, 27 inches high to the arm and 19 inches high to the seat. You are getting all six chairs for one money.
