The set of five consists of one arm chair and four side chairs in kind of a unique style – they have almost a shield back shape with better than average center splat which has a detailed flower style carving right in the center with a raised oval panel. They have a flared one piece back leg, a tapered flared front leg, and are joined together with a better than average cross stretcher that is all turned spindles. The seats have been freshly redone in an antique style fabric with beige and antique white and the chairs have been tightened to insure many days of carefree use. The overall size starting with the side chairs first are 18.5 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep, 39 inches to the top of the back, and 19.5 inches high to the seat. The arm chair, with better than average shapely arms and arm supports, is 20.5 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 41 inches to the top of the shapely back, and 20 inches high to the seat.
