We are pleased to be offering this fantastic Rococo style parlor chair to you today….

Dating from the 1860s to 1870s, this piece hails from a home in Beacon, MA where it has purportedly been sitting since it was originally purchased.  This gentleman’s chair measures 26 inches wide, 26 inches deep, 44 inches tall, and 19 inches from the floor to the seat. The chair is constructed mostly of black walnut and has some mahogany in the mix. It sports the original finish, and has a fantastic patina and features some fantastic Rococo style carvings on the crest, finger carved arm rests, floral carvings on the skirt, and this Gent’s chair has floral carvings tumbling out of a carved basket—beautiful!   The upholstery was redone we are guessing sometime within the last 20-40 years, and is usable with some wear and staining, and there is some minor fading where it may have been exposed to light from a window, etc.  Please check our other listings as we are always listing high quality stylish goods. It will cost $185.00 to have this shipped to your home.   Please contact us to make sure that your location is located in the normal delivery area.
