Sure to fit perfectly in any room in your home, this is a carved edge shapely top burl walnut Chippendale multi-drawer double door carved leg sideboard that dates from the 1930s in beautiful condition. It has a medium brown walnut stain finish that brings out the gorgeous grains of the burl walnut veneers used on the entire face of this sideboard and on the top. The carved edge along the top certainly draws out the beautiful burl walnut, all finished off with carved Chippendale Queen Anne pad foot legs. This piece features two picture frame dainty molded burl walnut doors that open up and offer plenty of storage space, a bowed out top in the center with a matching skirt that has clamshell carving on the end and three dovetail curved front drawers. A dainty little backsplash finishes off this exquisite unit. The doors when opened offer a storage space with a shelf on both the right- and left-hand doors, and a key that opens both locks, which is quite unusual. The overall size of this sideboard is 54 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 39.5 inches high up to top of the backsplash, and 37 inches high to the top of the sideboard itself. This would make a perfect bathroom sink counter if you want an original antique for that purpose, and is the most stylish of the sideboards we’ve had for a while. There are a few minor dings on the top, and we will re-spray the top at no additional charge if desired. It will cost $325 to ship this resplendent piece to your home, within the normal delivery area.
