This gorgeous tiger-sawn oak French bed, which is heavily carved and features raised panels and extra dark finish, dates from the 1920s era. It’s absolutely beautiful in person. In the Victorian style, with a heavy crown molded frame around the footboard that goes down into elbow carved floral cabriole legs. It has two shapely raised panel inserts and beautiful fleur-de-lis carving, with another raised panel right down the center. The headboard is almost the spitting image of the footboard, just a bit taller. The bed, overall, is stunning. The overall outside dimensions are 59 inches wide, 30 inches high on the footboard, and 49.5 inches high on the headboard. The inside dimensions, for mattress purposes, are 57 inches wide, and 77 inches long, so it will easily accommodate an American made full-size mattress and box spring. It has bolt-on side rails, and even has fancy scrollwork cut out on the side rails of the bed. This is a bed of very high quality. It will cost only $285 to have this piece shipped to your home, within our normal delivery area.
