Dating from the 1860s era, this is a most unusual find. It is a beautiful mahogany and walnut curio corner cabinet. In the empire style, it has ribbon molded curved doors on the base, and appears to be in very nice original condition, right down to the very thin original early silver-plated mirrors. The six mirrors in the back are all worn and time aged, and definitely from the period. The cabinet has scroll saw cutouts, and other than a tiny tip off the finial on the top, the fretwork is awesome. The piece has been re-sprayed to remove nicks and dings. The overall size is 30 inches wide, 19 inches deep, and 76 inches high. From the floor to the top of the base is 31 inches high. This is a really nice early Civil War-era piece.
