This is a most unusual floral designed Victorian style picture frame in a shabby chic finish, which is really unusual for this period picture frame. It dates from the 1880s and has gesso carvings on it. Some of the corners are a little rough and are missing a bit of the carving, and on the gold liner there is a tiny piece of the corner missing. This is all easily repaired. The overall size of the frame is 26 inches wide and 29 inches high. The size of the looking glass is 15.5 inches wide by 19 inches high. The frame is really unusual because it has gesso or plaster all through it, it has raised leaves and berries and things, and then it has a bunch of leaves stamped into the frame, in other words there is a design on top of the other layers of plaster, which is very unique. It does have a few little damage spots, which are the only things keeping it from being a $300 frame. It will cost only $30 to have this frame shipped to your home, within our normal delivery area.
