This is a wonderful set of six matching Chippendale country dining room chairs dating from the 1940s. Consisting of two armchairs and four side chairs, this beautiful set of six has just been just recently reupholstered in a lovely period style fabric by our star upholsterer, Rochelle. She outdid herself on these, because this is a very difficult pattern to match up, and she also put extra foam in, so the seats are really comfortable, for long hours of dining pleasure. The chairs are stained in a light brownish-red mahogany stain, so the table will go well with mahogany, oak, cherry or even a pine table, really, because the color is just that mellow. The chairs are all the country Chippendale style, with the square carved front legs, solid H cross-stretchers, slip-on upholstered seats, carved knuckles on the armchairs, wonderful detailed cutout splats on the back, and of course, the Chippendale-style carved crest rail. The overall size of the chairs, starting with the armchairs, is 22 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 38 inches to the top of the chair back and 20 inches high to the seat. The side chairs are 20 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 36 inches to the top of the crest rail and 20 inches high to the seat. This is a great set of six for one money, and it will cost only $265 to have this set shipped to you, within our normal delivery area.
