SOLD

A nice-looking and sturdy set of six dining chairs, these little beauties date from the 1930s or ‘40s and are in great condition

This is a nice set of six solid oak dining chairs, with a fluted block style front leg, dating from the 1930s or ‘40s. In their original as-found condition, which is a medium oak stain, that brings out the gorgeous patinas of the tiger-sawn and straight grain oak used in their construction. The chairs have a one-piece flared back leg, and a solid oak H cross-stretcher that supports and gives style to the beautiful legs. The legs in front are fluted, ribbed and semi-turned and block-turned, which makes for a very interesting leg. The seats are of red vinyl, in fairly good condition with no rips or tears, but easily replaced. The size of each chair is 18 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 38 inches to the top of the one-piece back leg, and 19 inches high to the seat. It will cost $225 to have this wonderful set shipped to your home, within the normal delivery area.
