With a rolled skirt, gorgeous grains in the solid oak and an unusual look, this table dating from the 1890s has been professionally refinished and is all ready to go in the home. This is a beautiful solid round oak 45-inch dining room table that comes with two 8.25 inch skirted leaves that dates from the 1890s. A most unusual table, with a most unusual base that has a multi-turned center column that comes down with four unique shapely legs. Has a rolled skirt, which means the skirt is not flat but actually curves a bit, and has a molded edge. We have taken the time to skirt out two table leaves so you don’t have to look at the ugly opening that is left when the leaves are in, as on most antique tables. We’ve completely stripped, re-glued, sanded, stained and applied multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer for a durable and lasting finish on the medium oak stain. It’s 45 inches round when closed and 30 inches high, with the height to the skirt being 26.5 inches high. When the leaves are put in, it becomes 60.5 inches long by 45 inches deep and 30 inches high.
