This is a really nice period antique gold carved picture frame that dates from the 1870s or ‘80s. It has a rustic painting on board, that has a few chips on the mountain and trees, which would be easy to touch up. The painting itself depicts an old ranch with the crop growing in the field, a pile of hay, a stream with some logs in it and the mountain and sky background. The real highlight is not the painting, but the wonderful little frame. The frame measures 17 inches wide, 14 inches high on the outside, and on the inside rabbit measures 12 inches wide by 9 and 1/8 high. It’s period gold carved, and there is very little roughness on the corners, but not much. It would be a very useful frame the way it is or with just some minor touchups. It will cost only $12 to have this charming little frame shipped to your home, within our normal delivery area.
