This is a beautiful tiger sawn oak step-back china cabinet/bookcase from France dating from the 1930s-40s. What a beautiful model, which comes with two oak grillwork doors on the top that open up to reveal a dual-shelf interior with a plate-rail groove cut into the back of each shelf to display your dishes. It features gorgeous clamshell carving on top and heavy applied crown molding. There are raised panel sides on top and base, with the step out base cabinet having two fancy picture frame raised panel carved doors and cabriole front legs. It comes with keys, and the locks appear to work, but we always tell everyone that the locks only work as long as they work: they’re temperamental and they always need something, so pay attention. The cabinet is finished in a medium oak stain color that is quite stunning in person. The size of the base cabinet is 53 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 26 inches high, with the top cabinet measuring 47 inches wide, at the deepest point is 14.5 inches deep, and an overall height of 80 inches. Inside dimensions are on the top, the depth of the shelves are 10.5 inches deep. This is a great-looking model that we’re pleased to be able to offer. It will cost $325 to have this cabinet shipped to your home within our normal delivery area.
