This table is constructed of quarter-sawn oak, and has beveled edge, round cornered drop-leaves, gate legs, and rope-twist on the posts all joined together with heavy oak stretchers. As the table is opened, the two center legs come up and form a triangle, allowing the insertion of two heavy-duty beveled edge shapely round drop-leaves to make a much larger table. The table has been completely refinished in a beautiful oak stain and multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer have been applied. The overall size, when the table is closed, is 19.5 inches wide, 42 inches deep and 28.5 inches high. When the leaves are flipped up, it measures 53 inches wide. In really nice condition, this table has a few small dings on top that didn‘t sand out, but they really just add to the charm and character of the piece.
