This is a beautiful double triple-leg pedestal column base mahogany dining table made by the Bernhardt Furniture Company in the 1940s. A much better than average table, this model has a notch molded ribbon skirt trim molding with carved notched round corners on the end of the skirts of the table. It has an ogee beveled edge, comes with one extension leaf, and the round cornered beautiful grain top sits on unbelievable triple leg vase type center column pedestals with three carved legs all terminating in brass style paw feet on each pedestal. The table top has been refinished so the leaf blends in with the tabletop itself. Overall dimensions are, closed, 64 inches long, 43 inches deep, and 30 inches high. When the 12 inch table leaf is inserted, the table measures 76 inches long. Finished in a dark reddish-brown finished, the table is all ready to go into the home.
