This is a lovely mahogany Empire platform curl foot dining room table dating from the 1920s in refinished condition. We have manufactured two 11-inch-wide table leaves and have put skirts on them, so when the table has the leaves in it, it shows a solid side instead of a gaping hole. It is finished in a rich, dark reddish brown luxurious color, and has a large split base cylinder post that comes down into the platform curl Empire-style foot. The overall condition is nice, all restored and refinished. It does show some wear on the side of the skirt, which adds a lot of charm and character, but the table itself has been all stripped, refinished and multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer applied. The overall size is 54 inches round, when closed up, and 29 inches high. When the leaves are in it becomes 76 inches long. It is all set to go in the home. It will cost $345 to have this breathtaking table shipped to your home, within the normal delivery area.
