This is a gorgeous dark Eastlake solid walnut, incise carved mantel mirror or mirror frame that dates from the 1870s or ‘80s. It has simulated burl panels, which I believe are paint decorated as they used to do in the old days, running down the columns on both sides, with the corner blocks incised carved with an X design. It features notch molding across the top crest, wheat carving in the center, and the old fashioned black and gold line decorations used throughout the whole top and on the outside edges. The inside liner is gold and is in good condition. The frame needs a wicked good cleaning. It measures 37 inches at the widest point and 31 inches at the highest point. The looking glass is in good condition, and overall it is ready to be hung in your home. It will cost only $65 to have this nice mirror shipped to your home, within our normal delivery area.
