This is a wonderful Eastlake-era black and gold incise carved wall mirror that dates from the 1870s or ‘80s. It needs a little touching up on the black ebony, some of the paint has worn off, which shows in the pictures. On the four corners there’s incise lemon gold inserts, and a lemon gold liner on the inside, and on the outside it is also painted with real gold. The black is the roughest part of the frame, but can be touched up with black lacquer. The frame measures 34.5 inches wide and 42 inches high. Other than the black paint and a tad of touchup needed on the gold, it’s in really good shape. It will cost only $65 to have this beautiful mirror shipped to your home, within our normal delivery area.
