This attractive straight-grain oak table has oval drop-leaves, gate legs, and rope-twist on the posts all joined together with heavy oak stretchers. As you open up the table, the two center legs come up and form a triangle, allowing the insertion of two heavy-duty beveled edge shapely drop-leaves to make a much larger table. Dating from the 1920s, this table, has been completely refinished and multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer have been applied. The overall size is, when the table is closed, 18.5 inches wide, 33 inches deep and 29 inches high. When the leaves are flipped up, it measures 51 inches wide. In wonderful condition, there is a slight bow to the top and a cup stain, which only adds charm and character.
