We are pleased to be offering today one of the nicest drum tables we have had in a long time that dates from the 1940s era. It was manufactured from R. Jane Arnold Corporation out of New York City. They were manufacturers of fine quality furniture. I don’t get very excited about drum tables any more, but I got excited about this one. It came out of a western home. It has maple banded inlaid, two blind dove tail drawers, oval panels all the way around with maple, flame mahogany and ebony inlaid. It also has an ox blood gold tooled embossed leather top that has a border of mahogany that is 1.5 inches wide. It sits upon four heavy stout Duncan Phyfe style legs with the original brass castors still intact. It is 32 inches round and 29.5 inches high. It is probably one of the heaviest drum tables we have owned and we have owned over 500. This is right out of the estate and hasn’t been polished! The overall condition is good with minor surface scratches here and there. Shipping starts at $285 due to the weight for our normal area. Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are in our normal area.
