We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful three piece overstuff parlor set from the deco era of the 1930s. It is a beautiful set that came out of a local Maine home. I know the year the people put this into the home was in 1974 guaranteed. It consists of a three cushion sofa, a wing back chair and an arm chair. They are all very comfortable. The fabric is a beautiful brocade which had to be expensive back in the day. The fabric is in wonderful original condition. The only damage on the fabric is on the back of the chairs from when it was pushed up against a wall. There is a spot on the back of the wing chair where maybe a mouse got into it. Most people do not finish the backs of these sets and just use a black cloth. The set is most likely going to need to have the burlap webbing replaced in the near future just due to normal wear and tear. The fabric and pattern are gorgeous with antique purples, antique dark browns, black piping accent and the cushions are all removable. The Chippendale Queen Anne pad feet in a dark mahogany color. The overall size of the sofa is 77 inches wide, 30 inches deep, 32 inches high to the top and 18 inches high to the seat. The wing back chair is 36 inches wide, 28 inches deep and 36 inches high to the top. The arm chair is 34 inches wide, 29 inches deep, 32 inches high and 17 inches high to the seat. The three piece set is beautiful. Shipping starts at $700 due to the large size of the set.
